Welcome. My name is Andrea. My husband and I came to California 7 years ago. Before our big move I lived in Berlin, Germany, where I worked as a specialist for Information Technologies.

I am a certified CIW Internet Webmaster and a certified ISO 27000 auditor. For about ten years, I worked as an IT Security Consultant for a Berlin company that specialized in Information Technology Security Solutions. Our customers were big companies like banks that needed high level security. After that, I was in charge of a department in a company with a big IT infrastructure.

Accordingly I offer consulting for small businessess, no matter how small. For very small businessess, the usual IT - consulting companys are too expensive. I have the experience to offer you the same standard on a completely different price level.

But I also teach. Why am I doing that? When I came to California I thought about starting a small consulting business for corporate customers. At the same time, I volunteered at my local library and offered a basic beginners computer class. I loved it! I realized that it is much more fun to instruct people rather than to consult on a corporate level. And my students were thrilled — finally they had found a place where they could successfully learn how to work with a computer from scratch. Here I go.

When I am not working with computers I enjoy the high desert country living with my husband and hiking with my two dogs.
